| After checking back in at the transmission shop, Dennis and I drove to Evergreen to hike to Brother's Lookout. This little summit is located in Alderfer/Three Sisters Park in Evergreen. We parked at the elementary school, but there is a parking lot further down on Buffalo Park Road. The well-maintained trail winds through a Ponderosa Pine forest with granite boulders and a variety of flora and fauna. Park brochures are available at the trailheads. The view from the summit was great. If we had more time, we would have probably hiked more. We met a guy with a dog, and a trail-runner, otherwise, the park was very quiet. When my kids get a little older, I'll have to bring them here. They'd get a kick out of it. Dennis said it was his favorite hike. | |||||
