Coming from the Western summit, Mount Evans was a piece of cake.  Just hike along the ridge, back to the parking lot, and up the trail to the summit.
Compared to when we had been up on Sunday, it was pretty quiet.  There were maybe half a dozen people in the area, but all except us had driven to the top.  As we descended to the north crossing the switch-backing Mt. Evans road, we did start seeing a lot more tourists driving to the top.  Also, we noticed clouds beginning to build, but since we didn't see lightning or hear thunder, we decided to attempt Epaulet and Rosalie to the south.  These two 13,500ish peaks can be climbed very easily from the Mount Evans Road.
